Gabi Harris
My relationship with movement and exercise began as a young girl with ballet and modern dance classes. I continued to swim, and play tennis and netball throughout high school, and took movement studies as part of my Drama degree at university.
In 2014, I went to my first Pilates class and I was hooked – the combination of strength, stability and movement really spoke to me and I was amazed at the change it made to my body. After three years of practicing, I decided that I wanted to share the benefits I had experienced with other people, so, in 2017, I decided to make teaching Pilates my career. I did my BASI Mat and Comprehensive Teacher Training courses and later that year, went on to join Sue at Core Studios.
I work across a varied client base, young and old, including athletes working through injuries or to improve their performance; men and women wanting to build strength, stability and muscle tone; and families looking for a fun and wholesome activity they can enjoy together.
Whether it’s a sweaty, muscle-trembling mat class or a gentle, nurturing stretch session, I’m committed to helping my clients achieve their personal movement potential.
