Cycle Fit

Maximise your comfort, performance and injury resilience on the bike.

At Core Studios, we are expanding our movement, performance and rehabilitation services to include a professional bike fitting & setup service — drawing on the same attention to biomechanics, posture and precision that underpins our physiotherapy and Pilates work.

Our bike fitting & setup service will help you:

  • Achieve an optimized riding position for comfort, power and efficiency

  • Reduce stress on joints, muscles and tendons — lowering risk of overuse injury

  • Understand how small changes (saddle height, cleat position, tilt, stack/ reach) can make a big difference

  • Use objective measurement and adjustment tools to fine-tune your setup

  • Get coached on pedal stroke, posture and alignment as part of the session

Why It Matters

A poorly set up bike can lead to discomfort, pain (knee, back, hip, shoulder) and limits on your performance. But when your bike is fitted to your body, you ride stronger, longer — and with less wear and tear. We believe that performance is not only about strength or endurance, but optimizing how your body and machine work together.

This service naturally complements our core offerings of physiotherapy, Pilates, biokinetics and movement re-education — so any mobility, flexibility or injury considerations we encounter can feed directly into the fitting process.

What to Expect in a Session

N

Initial Assessment & Goals Discussion

We’ll talk about your history, any discomfort, your cycling goals (commuting, touring, racing, mountain, etc.).

N

Baseline Measurements & Movements

We assess your mobility, leg length differences, joint ranges, posture and flexibility.

N

Bike Setup & Adjustments

Starting from your current setup, we refine saddle height, fore/aft, cleat angles, stem length, handlebar position and more.

N

On-bike Testing & Feedback

You ride (indoor or on a trainer), we monitor your motion, comfort and power output, making iterative adjustments.

N

Instruction & Take-home Recommendations

We explain why changes were made, give you cues for riding posture and suggest any equipment upgrades (saddle, pedals, cleats) if needed.

N

Follow-up / Fine-tune

We encourage a follow-up session or check-in after you’ve ridden with the new setup, to tweak further.
