Hip Hop Dance
Hip Hop is the umbrella term for all Street Dance Styles. The SABOD (South African Body of Dance) syllabus introduces the dancer to all the various styles. Styles that are taught are: Lockin’, Popping, House, KRUMP, Spujwa, Waacking, Old School, Jerking, Tutting and many more.
Hip Hop is normally very fast and needs to be danced with energy and style.
Exams have various exercises and combinations in the different styles. Once a dancer has passed an exam, they are able to go up to the next level.
With the exam classes dancers can one day obtain their Hip Hop Dance Teacher’s Certificate.
